Retro Feasts-Fizz's with delights

Wow, what a pop up treasure trove this place is.(And in case you ever wondered,if I don't like a place,I won't blog about it)

Retro feasts takes 80's 90's food classic and gives them a reinvention/twist

Located in old Burlington road,(in what used to be The Embassy club) Has been transformed into (how I can best describe) as A Mayfair diner. With the added benefit of a club (Kitsch) underneath.

Cocktails

Cocktails, think, pear drops, rhubarb martini and Sherbet Fizz cocktails.(get the retro twist)

Starters

I had favorites from the new season menu are crab, celeriac and chilli on sourdough bread, and bacon, sweet corn, potato soup (literally one of the best soups I've ever tried)

Main

Opting for a lighter main. I went for chicken Kiev (on the bone) served on a bed of mash, an green beans, Great portion sizes, beautifully served, and surprisingly well priced for Mayfair.

Dessert

This Chelsea girl doesn't fall far from the tree, as I opted for Eton Mess and Fresh mint tea, both where scrumptious.

After 8's

Not the chocolate, but as you finish dinner, I was happy to learn the down stairs (old Embassy club venue),has been turned into Kitsch night club. An upmarket night club. Decked out in optical illusion mirrors, and blacked up, sloping stairwells.

The staff where attentive, an very polite. This place gets a London a Princess Gold star of approval. So much so, I'm going back with all my friends for my birthday on November 16th.
