AfroAsia Week is social enterprise and registered community interest company bringing communities closer through activities to unite, engage and support literacy, social cohesion and celebrate heritage. Our main yearly event will take place in August of this year spanning two days showcasing business, enterprise, fashion, food and culture ending with AfroAsia community awards. The event location is the UK Centre for Carnival Arts, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 3JA a modern purpose built culturecentric building with a fantastic auditorium where the proceedings will be held and onsite diner/cafe complete with wifi. DAY1 - 14 AUGUST 2015 - AFROASIA WEEK EXHIBITION 12PM - 8PM Exhibition of products From Technology, Business & Innovation +Exhibition of Goods From Fashion, Skincare, and Accessories - SELL/EXHIBIT/INTERACT . Exhibition spots are open to businesses worldwide who are inspired or owned by enterpreneurs from Asia or Africa. Fashion Designer spots are open to fashion designers worldwide who are inspired or owned by entrepreneurs from Asia or Africa Each designer 5 mins slot includes access to hair and makeup, amenities and options for further equipment and enhaned marketing. Pricing starts from £99.99 Further information at https://afroasiaweek.com/fashion-runway/ Day 2 - 15 AUGUST 2015 - MISS AFROASIA 7-9PM Miss AfroAsia is a modest cultural and talent pageant for 15-25 year olds who have origins in any one of the countries in AFRICA or ASIA through themselves or at least one of their parents, grandparents or great grandparents. Entry to the contest is priced at £100. All finalists will have a biography written up in the AfroAsia Week Magazine. END 1AM There is no cost for nominating or for awardees.
