    Insurers pushing for the government to introduce measures to reduce death and injury amongst young drivers have received backing from the parents of 16-24 year olds according to research carried out by Allianz.

    David Cooper, Allianz’s head of London market property owners, will be retiring from the business with effect from 31 July 2015. David will be succeeded by John Dunn, who is currently strategic initiatives manager within Allianz’s Commercial division. He will take on his new role effective from 1 August 2015.

    New research from Allianz Insurance has found that it takes, on average, eight months for victims of burglary to feel safe in their home again following the incident. Only 45 per cent return to feeling 100 per cent safe in their home all the time. Surprisingly, one in 10 has resorted to moving house after a burglary.

  • ALLIANZ WELCOMES NEW BROKERS TO 2015 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

    Allianz welcomed 51 new brokers to its Academy Scholarship Programme this week, at a launch event held at Painters Hall in the City of London. Places on the award-winning programme, which actively supports brokers to achieve their CII Diploma in Insurance in 18 months, were allocated to 33 commercial brokers and 18 personal lines brokers.
