  • TALENTED TRIO ARE WELCOMED ONTO ALLIANZ’S ONE YEAR PLACEMENT SCHEME

    Allianz has welcomed its second intake of students onto its One Year Placement Scheme. Alex O’Farrell, Joseph Hennessy, both from the University of Surrey, and Tobias Duggan University of Bath, will be the second group to take part in the programme specifically created for university students looking to gain professional experience before entering the workplace.

    Controversy surrounded the comments made by new President of the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) Sara Thornton, who said the public shouldn't expect to see a police officer after reporting certain crimes such as burglary. A survey of 1,500 people commissioned this week by Allianz, has revealed that a significant majority expect the police to attend the victim’s home following a burglary.

    Now in its fifth year the Allianz Technical Trainee Programme is once again accepting applications from students with A-level qualifications. The programme, specifically created for talented young people who are academically capable but who might not wish to attend university, offers the opportunity to work in the Allianz Retail division.

    Allianz Insurance has welcomed 23 university students onto its 2015 Summer Internship Scheme. Now in its seventh year, the nine week programme offers students the opportunity to work across all business areas including Commercial, Retail and Claims, to gain practical experience of working in the insurance industry.
