Balustradedesign launches sleek wire balustrade for staircases

Balustradedesign is launching a new wire balustrade for staircases, developed to combine safety, functionality and a contemporary look. Made from acid-resistant stainless steel, the balustrade creates a slim, airy and subtly nautical feel that works equally well in interior settings and outdoor spaces such as terraces and entrance areas.

The twisted steel wire, with a diameter of 4 mm, runs through eyelets between the posts and is secured to the outer posts at the bottom and top of the staircase. This construction provides a stable balustrade while maintaining an elegant and discreet visual expression.

Customers can tailor their wire balustrade to suit their needs — from the height of the balustrade to the number of wires. Fewer wires create an even lighter and more open appearance, while more wires provide a denser look. Top rails are available in stainless steel or wood, including oak and jatoba, making it easy to match the style to other materials in the home.

The balustrade is supplied complete with all installation accessories, along with clear instructions and step-by-step installation videos to guide customers through the fitting process. The posts feature base plates and are mounted on top of the surface for straightforward and secure installation.

Using Balustradedesign’s digital design tool, customers can create their solution directly online — fully made to measure and visualised in both 3D and technical drawings. This makes it easier to plan, adjust and feel confident before placing an order.
