Balustradedesign launches Verto – a new Swedish-made solution for stylish fencing and privacy screens

Balustradedesign is now launching Verto in the UK, a new product developed for customers who want to create stylish and functional outdoor boundaries with a high degree of design freedom.

Verto is a system of fence posts for horizontal slats and provides a stable framework for everything from low garden fencing to taller privacy screens and trellis-style installations. The posts feature pre-prepared integrated openings that help position the slats correctly from the start, creating an even and refined appearance regardless of the material chosen.

What sets Verto apart is the combination of clear structure and extensive flexibility. The posts are delivered made to measure, while the slats are purchased separately. This allows customers to choose between wood, composite or aluminium to create a look that suits their home – from natural and warm to more minimal and contemporary.

To offer even greater choice, Verto is available in 14 different heights and in two post dimensions, 50x50 mm and 50x70 mm. The system can also be combined with 11 different slat patterns and sizes, with the option of choosing either a denser or more open design depending on the desired balance between privacy, light flow and visual expression. The posts are available in four standard colours – natural anodised, grey, black and white – and can also be ordered in any RAL colour.

We offer a stable foundation and a highly flexible product, where the customer can shape the final result through their choice of material, colour and design,” says Björn Johansson, CEO of Balustradedesign.

The product is manufactured in powder-coated aluminium at the production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden. The material has been chosen to withstand Nordic weather conditions over time without rusting or flaking. At the same time, the construction is designed to provide both privacy and shelter from wind, while still allowing daylight to filter through and maintain an open feel in the outdoor space.

Verto works equally well for defining a property boundary as for creating a more secluded and inviting patio area. The combination of made-to-measure production and broad design options means the same system can be used across many different environments and architectural styles.

Manufacturing takes place with full control over material selection, precision and structural performance. The production process is certified according to EN 1090-1 and follows relevant Eurocodes for load-bearing capacity and performance. It is also continuously reviewed by RISE, which is responsible for external control of traceability, quality and the manufacturing process.

Following its launch in the UK, Verto will also be introduced across additional European markets during the coming weeks in April.
