Räckesbutiken expands professional installation services in Europe

As part of its strategy to become Europe’s leading supplier of made-to-measure balustrade solutions, Swedish e-commerce company Räckesbutiken is now expanding its professional installation services in Europe, with launches in Germany and France. The new service enables customers to have their balustrades installed by authorised, certified installers, directly in connection with their online purchase.

The launch builds on the model Räckesbutiken has successfully developed in Sweden, where the company has for several years worked with a network of established installation teams covering most of the country. The service has been well received by customers who want to combine the simplicity of designing their balustrade online with the reassurance of professional installation. In Sweden, the service includes everything from pre-installation inspection and fitting to liability insurance and warranty — a model that is now being scaled internationally with local adaptation in each market.

In Germany, the service is being launched through the local brand Geländerladen, where a network of authorised installers offers smooth and reliable installation. The installers are trained and certified according to Räckesbutiken’s standards and manage the entire process — from first contact through to completed installation.

In France, Räckesbutiken is partnering with NeedHelp under the local brand Maison du Garde-Corps. NeedHelp is a leading service platform with a network of more than 30,000 installers. Through this partnership, customers across the country gain access to professional installation directly alongside their order.

“We are seeing clear demand for convenient, end-to-end solutions. Many customers appreciate being able to design their balustrade digitally, but would rather avoid the tools and the installation work. Offering professional installation is therefore a natural next step for us — and something we have already seen work very well in Sweden,” says Björn Johansson, CEO of Räckesbutiken.

The new service offering forms part of Räckesbutiken’s ambition to combine the efficiency of e-commerce with local presence and craftsmanship. By taking responsibility for the entire customer journey — from configurator to completed installation — the company is strengthening its position as a full-service supplier of balustrade solutions.
