28 October 2025: poncle is launching Vampire Survivors update 1.14 on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Mobile today, with Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store versions arriving on 31st October.
After some very clever yet ridiculous company social posts teasing this totally unexpected news, players can now grab their whips (oh...?) and get cracking (nice) with everything poncle is bringing to the BAFTA-award winning game. Following the release of Berserk or Die and Kill the Brickman under poncle’s publishing arm, poncle presents, the UK-based studio is swooping back in with the 1.14 Vampire Survivors update – and the stakes have never been... never mind.
Online Co-op

Following a stupendously successful public beta in August, poncle has decided to hit the big red button that makes online co-op appear in Vampire Survivors. Easy!
With this much-anticipated addition to the game, distance is no obstacle and players are free to roam wherever their hearts desire without being tethered to one shared screen with their pals. Up to four players can play together in one session, just like couch co-op.
Online co-op is available now for players on PC, Xbox and PlayStation with Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store versions coming 31st October and mobile coming to the game at a later stage. Through the power of a mere stable Wi-Fi connection, survival just got a whole lot more... co-operative.
To start an online session, select “Online” from the main menu and choose to host or join a game. If you host, you’ll see a room code in the top corner of the screen that you can share with friends so they can join.

Ante Chamber

What’s that smell? Oh, it’s another crossover, this time with the mighty Balatro!
Join Jimbo and a cast of wild cards with combo potential that'll probably break the game. Get in on the action for a Full House of silly synergies, clownish combos, and bewildering Boss Blinds.
The house is full. The deck is rigged. And Luck is just another statistic. But fortune favours the bold, and if you can survive this clown car of poker puns, you can be the bullet hell even when the chips are down.
In official partnership with LocalThunk and Playstack, the Ante Chamber update is free to all players on all platforms.
4 New Characters (send in the clowns)
- Jimbo: Your favorite forklift-certified clown finally has full-body representation in Vampire Survivors.
- Canio: The tragic clown in oversized finery. Has a special technique to trigger additional Survarot drafts, but won't stop frowning about it.
- Chicot - Wears the cap and bells, but makes bosses look like the real clowns by cutting their health in half and switching off their hazards.
- Perkeo: Short in stature but never short on Passives, this fool has a practically unlimited pool to power him up.
4 New Weapons & Evolutions
- Infernolatro - Summon a burning score counter to burn your foolish foes to ashes. Each enemy you roast stacks your score and fans the flames, expanding the inferno until the whole table's alight.
- Gros Michel: Release a barrage of banana projectiles, each with a 1-in-6 chance to explode for deliciously critical damage.
- Fibonacci Seltzer - Fires mathematically beautiful spiralling streams of fizzy destruction that can trigger your other weapons.
- Celestial Booster: Planets and a rocket orbit you constantly, dealing extra damage based on your current riches.
New stage: The Ante Chamber
Enter the Ante Chamber, an extradimensional analogue of Balatro's user interface. Battle buffoonish foes on a facsimile of Jimbo's home turf accompanied by a new ally, the Outer Saboteur, a silly little sidekick that steals your coins to throw them at enemies.
What are Survarots?
Survarots are a new form of power creep that is currently being tested through Secretino in the Vampire Survivors base game, but all Ante Chamber characters can use them. They are vaguely similar to Arcana cards, but are themed after characters from Vampire Survivors and provide different types of bonuses. The Ante Chamber has a preview of this feature which will eventually make its way to the base game, so keep your eyes peeled…

Ode to Castlevania Update

In a cold dark October in 2024, KONAMI and poncle joined forces to release their much-anticipated Castlevania collaboration, appropriately called the Ode to Castlevania expansion. At the time, poncle said, ‘everyone is here’, which wasn’t exactly true… Now in 2025, poncle and KONAMI have somehow returned with (almost) every remaining Castlevania character you can imagine joining the rest of the crew. Yep, even that one.

I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but Vampire Survivors was made by an Italian man.
A fan of poncle’s relentless puns based on Italian foods, old-fashioned dancing and references only four people in the world will get? You’re in luck! Poncle has yet another free new stage, weapons and characters for the three of you who get the joke.
