CASTLEVANIA: GRIMOIRE OF SOULS ADDS NEW STORIES AND RECEIVES WINTER UPDATE

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today announced that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls has received its second major update following October’s Halloween-themed release. This winter update comes at no extra cost via Apple Arcade, Apple’s popular game subscription service that offers unlimited access to a growing collection of over 200 premium games — featuring new releases, award winners, and beloved favourites from the App Store, all without ads or in-app purchases.

This winter update adds two new grimoires, giving players a new story to enjoy:

As the chaos of the Grimoires grew more fervent, monsters began reappearing across the globe. With a new ally in tow, Alucard and the others make their way into a new Grimoire era. A grown-up Maria and Alucard meet up once again with Shanoa and Albus, reaffirming their timeless bond and strengthening it even more. Before them appears former Organization member Hermina, as well as Soma Cruz, who fell to darkness. What could they want? Guided by fate, the story of Vital Souls unravels even further into chaos.

As players progress through this Grimoire of Souls story, both Maria Renard and Albus will be added to Alter Arts!

A new ‘Winter Holiday’ Season Order has also been added to Grimoire of Souls, following hot on the heels of October’s Halloween order. The Winter Holiday order will bring new winter-themed stages for players to fight their way through. As with the previous update, this order is not limited to the Winter period and will be available permanently. Special Winter Holiday-themed coins will also be available in Grimoire of Souls and can be exchanged for a variety of rewards including skins, weapons, and armour. Players can enjoy exclusive Winter Holiday skins and accessories to really get into the festive spirit!

Finally, this update will feature a new exclusive login bonus lasting from December 17th 2021 to January 15th 2022. By launching the game during this campaign period, players will be able to receive a total of 14 additional rewards; players who log in 14 times during this period will receive all the rewards.

Playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is available exclusively on Apple Arcade for a low monthly subscription of $4.99 with a one-month free trial. Apple Arcade is also part of Apple One’s Individual ($14.95), Family ($19.95), and Premier ($29.95) monthly plans, with a one-month free trial*.

Additional details about Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls are available on the official website: LINK

*The Apple One free trial includes only services that are not currently used through a free trial or a subscription. Plan automatically renews after trial until cancelled. Restrictions and other terms apply.
