Jingle Jam Announces Charity Partners for 2025

Wednesday 28 May 2025, Bristol, UK: Video game charity Jingle Jam has today announced the eight partner charities that will benefit from money raised during its upcoming 2025 event.

Building on the success of last year’s new strategic direction, Jingle Jam 2025 will unite the world’s best games, creators, and their communities for two weeks of entertainment to help make the world better for children and young people.

The charities announced for this year are:

  • Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)
  • War Child UK
  • Autistica
  • Become
  • Make-A-Wish
  • The Trevor Project
  • Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal
  • WWF

Jingle Jam 2024 saw hundreds of creators including Smosh Games, TommyInnit, Talia Mar, RTGame and The Spiffing Brit come together alongside founders The Yogscast to take part in fundraising festivities. The event raised £2.7 million for eight charity partners, pushing the initiative’s lifetime total past £27.5 million. In total, over 800 creators held fundraising streams with a combined 2.7 million hours of watch time and over 8 million views.

Over 62,000 donations were made by supporters who claimed over 53,000 Jingle Jam Games Collections. The 2024 Jingle Jam Games Collection included 18 games, offered unbeatable value, and was supported by game developers and publishers worldwide.

For Jingle Jam 2025, more than 170 organisations applied to be a Charity Partner.

“Every year selection gets harder, as the quality of applications goes up 15 to 20 percent. Our team had to work incredibly hard, but we believe these eight charities, including our two long-term Strategic Partner Charities, represent our strongest cohort yet to deliver impact towards our key focus areas in the UK, the US and all around the world,” said Jingle Jam Chair Rich Keith.

“Our 2025 partners will also engage a broader range of creators, sponsors and match-funders in the hope of growing Jingle Jam in line with our strategic aims. We are delighted to have these wonderful charities on board and we're already working on plans to make Jingle Jam 2025 the best yet."

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and War Child UK continue to work in collaboration with Jingle Jam long-term as Strategic Partner Charities. Last year, in addition to fundraising, their support to Jingle Jam included strategic advice, brand development, donor stewardship and data protection.

The two charities are joined by Jingle Jam stalwarts Autistica and Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal. Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal is now close to reaching its multi-year goal of £3m to fund Jingle Jam Building, the innovative, first of its kind patient hotel which recently received planning permission.

The remaining charities comprise of The Trevor Project, returning for its second year, and three charities making their Jingle Jam debut: WWF, Become, and Make-A-Wish.

Between them, the partners tackle issues that Jingle Jam donors care deeply about and which make the world a better place for young people. These issues include mental health, animal conservation, rainforest protection, hospital care, LGBTQ+ support, neurodiversity inclusion and children affected by global conflicts and the environment. Become’s inclusion marks the first time Jingle Jam has explicitly supported care-experienced children and young people.

The 2025 Jingle Jam will take place from 1-14 December, with more details about the event to be announced over the coming months.

Founded by Lewis and Simon of the Yogscast in 2011 to raise money for Oxfam, Jingle Jam has grown significantly in size and momentum ever since. It was established as an independent fundraising charity in 2022, and now draws in hundreds of streamers from around the world annually to participate in fundraising.
