Prime Gaming Offered More Value and Drove Record Engagement in 2022

As we head into yet another exciting year, we first wanted to take a moment to share some insight into how Prime Gaming members engaged with the offering in 2022.

First, Prime Gaming offered members unprecedented value in 2022 on top of the enormous additional value Prime membership unlocks. If a member claimed every single game offered each month as part of our “Games With Prime” (FGWP) program throughout 2022, they would find themselves with a collection of games worth more than $2,300 USD in value (based on each game’s MSRP at the time it was offered). We’re always proud of the value we offer members, but Prime Gaming went even bigger in 2022 with an increase in Games With Prime MSRP value of 34% over the previous year.

Not surprisingly, members engaged more with the Prime Gaming benefits as a result. In 2022, members made more claims of games and in-game content, representing a more than 25% increase in claims over the previous year.

We have a fantastic set of partners to thank for their part in these great results, both old and new. We continued longstanding partnerships with EA, Riot Games and Rockstar Games, while also welcoming new partners to the Prime Gaming party, including Blizzard Entertainment, Niantic and King. Prime Gaming members jumped at the opportunity to claim the more than 100 different Games With Prime offered in 2022. The 10 most popular Games With Prime claims last year, alphabetically:

Of course, Games With Prime is only part of what Prime members enjoy with Prime Gaming: we also offer compelling in-game content to members every month for some of the biggest and most popular games. These games include League of Legends, Grand Theft Auto Online, Pokémon GO, Roblox, Valorant, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and many, many more. Finally, in case you missed it, we added a new Prime Gaming feature in 2022 called “My Collection,” which provides members with one-click access to check their previous claim history, claim codes and review the delivery status of their collected content.
