Lyon, France – 26 September 2025 – Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe today announced that PAC-MAN WORLD™2 Re-PAC, the remake of the beloved action platformer is available now on consoles and PC. The remake modernizes the gameplay of the original, one of the best-selling PAC-MAN™ games of all time, while faithfully retaining its charm. In the game, players journey deep into Pac-Land across six unique worlds to reclaim the Golden Fruit stolen by the Ghosts, taking on familiar and new foes including challenging bosses. PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC features significantly enhanced visuals, new gameplay mechanics, new and expanded levels, and full VO for all the main characters. The title is available now on PlayStation®5, Playstation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch™2 and PC via Steam®. As a bonus, players who own the remake of the first title in the series, PAC-MAN WORLD™ Re-PAC released in 2022, can now unlock an exclusive TOC-MAN in-game costume. In PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, players take on the role of Pac-Man as they run, chomp, and butt-bounce as they journey across Pac-Land, experiencing classic platformer environments such as meadows, ice peaks, volcanoes, ocean levels and more. Along the way they encounter fun and challenging foes, including massive bosses, sent to stop them by the dastardly villain Spooky. The lovingly remade title adds new game play mechanics such as Super Butt Bounce, along with enhanced Flip Kick, Ice Skating, Snorkelling, Pac-Marine and more. PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC also adds new game play with both new and updated bosses, all-new levels, and an enhanced new Time Trial Mode where players can speed run levels to compete for global leaderboards. Additional features that add endless fun and replayability to the game include three classic PAC-MAN titles – the original PAC-MAN™, PAC-ATTACK™, and PACMANIA™ – available to play in the Village arcade as well as Gashapon™ machines where players can spend earned in-game coins for collectible figures.
Originally released in 2002, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC puts players in the role of the iconic character, embarking on a journey across Pac-Land. Players will navigate through six unique worlds while facing off against the Ghosts and their boss Spooky. For the first time in the PAC-MAN WORLD™ series, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PACalso introduces a 2-player couch co-op mode, allowing players to experience the journey across Pac-Land together.
PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is available for pre-orders with a Deluxe Edition that includes the Collaboration DLC with Sonic, that will be released in November 2025.
