New donation DLC packs added to dark arcade game Oil Strike ‘75

Leamington Spa, UK – 5 November 2025: Secret Mode is proud to announce a new partnership with Whale and Dolphin Conversation (WDC) as part of its Quiet Seas Please campaign, which aims to convince the UK government to set and enforce legal noise limits on offshore developments.

Secret Mode is partnering on the campaign through its game Oil Strike ‘75, a free arcade platformer launched as a secret tie-in to ocean horror game Still Wakes the Deep. To support the Quiet Seas Please campaign, Oil Strike ‘75 will now offer DLC packages which allow players to directly support WDC through a Steam purchase. The packages will be available at tiers of $4.99, $29.99, and $49.99, with 95% of all proceeds going to WDC. Oil Strike ‘75 will still be available as a free download.

Oil Strike ‘75 is ostensibly an educational arcade game full of minigames teaching players about life on an oil rig, but it doesn’t take long for the experience to break down and reveal a darker secret. One such minigame tasks players with surveying the ocean floor for oil reserves – something that is extremely disruptive to whales, dolphins, and other marine animals.
