Ticket sales and a half-time raffle helped to raise a grand total of £11,296 for charity.

“Stand Up for Games Aid was a roaring success,” said George Osborn, co-chair of Games Aid. “As well as reuniting the games community for some much-needed laughs after a long couple of years, the generosity of our sponsors and our attendees have helped us raise enough cash to make a real difference to disadvantaged young people across the UK.”

“What better way to support such an incredible charity than through an event that brings the UK games industry together to enjoy the power of comedy and laughter,” said Samantha Ebelthite, Head of Commercial Markets Intelligence at Electronic Arts. “The work that Games Aid do is invaluable, helping change and improve the lives of so many young people. Thank you to everyone involved for such a fantastic night!”
