Stranger Things’ Jamie Campbell Bower Announced for MCM Birmingham Comic Con
Birmingham, Wednesday 19th November: ReedPop is delighted to announce that Jamie Campbell Bower, the actor behind Stranger Things’ Vecna will be attending MCM Birmingham Comic Con at the NEC on Sunday 30th November.
Best known as Stranger Things’ overarching villain, Henry Creel, or Vecna, Jamie Campbell Bower received critical acclaim for his performance in the hit Netflix show’s fourth season.
He will appear Sunday only for photo opportunities and signings, and will take to the Live Stage on Sunday at 12:15pm for a panel delving into Stranger Things and his acting career. His panel will be free to attend for all Sunday, and 3-Day Weekend ticket holders.
Before Stranger Things, Bower got his start in acting when he co-starred as Anthony Hope in 2007’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, directed by Tim Burton. Since then, he went on to star as Jace in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and in recurring roles in both the Twilight and Harry Potter franchises.
Outside of acting, Bower has had storied careers across both music and modelling. From 2017 to 2020 he fronted the punk rock band Counterfeit, before going on to create a heavy metal band, BloodMagic in 2024.
