Video game charity Jingle Jam crosses £30 million lifetime fundraising total

Jingle Jam 2025 raises £3.2 million for partnered charities as total raised by the event since it began in 2011 passes an incredible milestone.

17 December, Bristol, UK: Annual video game charity event Jingle Jam has surpassed a lifetime total of £30 million following the 2025 iteration of the event.

Running from 1-14 December, the 2025 Jingle Jam raised £3.2 million for this year’s eight partnered charities: Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), War Child, Autistica, Become, Make-A-Wish, The Trevor Project, Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and WWF.

More than 70,000 donations were made during this year’s event, averaging £45.00 per donation. Over seven million viewers watched over 14,400 hours of live-streamed content from more than 1,000 content creator fundraisers.

The two weeks of entertainment included an incredible range of livestream, recorded and IRL events. From speedrunning to Twitch relays, from quiz nights to variety marathons, this year’s Jingle Jam was the most action-packed, epic event it’s ever been.

The total raised since Jingle Jam began in 2011 now stands at £30.7 million, which has supported fifty chosen charity partners over the years.

Jingle Jam started when Lewis Brindley and Simon Lane of The Yogscast asked fans to donate to Oxfam instead of sending them Christmas presents. The event now sees hundreds of content creators from around the world taking part over two weeks every December, to raise money for eight chosen charities that impact the lives of millions globally.

This year’s drew 55,000 donations that unlocked this year’s Jingle Jam Games Collection. The Collection is a bespoke, premium collection of games donated by developers and publishers annually, and this year included Tactical Breach Wizards from Suspicious Developments Core Keeper, Dungeons of Hinterberg from, Microbird Games, and so much more.

“Reaching this milestone is a testament to the incredible generosity of the video game community, and the amazing things that can happen when people come together to make the world a better place,” said Rich Keith, chair of Jingle Jam Trustees. “We’re incredibly proud, but for Jingle Jam this is only the beginning.”

Hundreds of creators took part in this year’s Jingle Jam, led by founders The Yogscast and key ambassadors RTGame and The Spiffing Brit, along with a host of huge names including ChrisMD,, Zentraya, WillNE,ArthurTV,Smosh Games, Talia Mar, FreyzPlayz, Jack Manifold, Outside Xbox, Storror, Limealicious, hJune and Trust in Rust, and so many more.

Jingle Jam will return next year, from Tuesday 1 December to Monday 14 December 2026 and swathes of creators have already pledged their commitment to return and go even further next time.
