Gifted & Talented enjoy university sports workshops

Block 3 and 4 students from the Bedales Gifted & Talented programme recently attended advanced SAQ (speed, agility and quickness), core stability and strength workshops at theUniversity of Chichester.  The workshops were led by the university’s sports tutors, combining the theoretical with the practical. Amongst the Bedales students attending, there were county and club players and a couple of students who are representing their sport at national level. All of the students took a lot out of the day, and found the experience very informative, learning a lot about their own bodies, through a variety of techniques designed to manipulate and work their muscles in a manner specific to their sport. View photos.
