‘Young Future Star’ Tom Guy meets Dame Kelly Holmes

Tom Guy, English schools champion, met with Dame Kelly Holmes on Saturday 4th December as part of a ‘Future Stars with Kelly’ mentoring session. Tom, who is sponsored by After the Event Insurance Company Box Legal, (www.boxlegal.co.uk), began his athletic category as an ‘under 17’. Last year Tom won the UK schools with a Personal Best of 1.53.07 in the 800m. He has also represented England twice in the Homes Nation Competition and this year finished in first place.

Box Legal are delighted to be able to sponsor such a young talent and are thrilled he is being given opportunities to meet and be mentored by athletes such as Dame Kelly Holmes.

Daniel Morris, Director of Box Legal commented:

"Tom is an exceptional athlete, and him being described as a Future Star is no surprise to us at Box Legal. We are very aware of the sacrifices young people need to make to get to the level Tom is at, and we only hope we can encourage him with our support."

Due to his past winning performances Tom was selected by Dame Kelly along with a number of other outstanding athletes, aged between 14 and 19, to attend this fabulous day.
