The Tailored Group Speaks Up on Why Atlanta is a Great City for Business

After months of speculation and publicity stunts, e-commerce giant Amazon has revealed the final 20 cities on their shortlist for its second headquarters. Narrowed down from 238 locations, the winning city will see the Seattle based company invest $5 billion in the new development, and up to 50,000 new jobs. Sales and marketing specialist, The Tailored Group, was delighted to learn that Atlanta, the location of its own HQ has made the cut and was being considered as a potential location for this significant new development.

The Tailored Group firmly believes that residing in Atlanta has been a significant component to its success. Atlanta boasts proximity to some of the most advanced universities in the country; Georgia Tech, Emory University, Georgia State University, and the University of Georgia. This has provided The Tailored Group with a steady source of up and coming talent. ‘Many of the opportunities we offer are ideal for graduates looking to transfer what they’ve learnt in the classroom to the real business world. Atlanta has provided us with some of the brightest and ambitious graduates we could have asked for, which has played a significant role in the company’s current rate of growth.’ Outlines a spokesperson for the firm.

The growth The Tailored Group is currently experiencing is monumental, with the firm on track to launch three new offices in Atlanta alone, expanding its reach and positioning the company as the city’s leading outsourced sales and marketing provider. With such an able workforce in place, the firm also has plans to take its services further afield and launch in ten new markets across the U.S by March 2018. ‘None of this would be possible without the hard work of our dedicated workforce, their curiosity, willingness to learn and passion for the industry is what keeps us moving forward’. States the firm.

However, The Tailored Group is eager to address that it’s not just Atlanta’s graduate population that has contributed to its success. ‘Atlanta is a relatively inexpensive city, so it’s an ideal location for aspiring entrepreneurs to lay the foundations for success. In fact, between 2000 and 2006, Atlanta was the fastest-growing urban area in the whole of the U.S. Because we offer ongoing mentorship within all our entry-level roles, we have created an ideal environment for these future entrepreneurs to learn the ropes, regardless of their background or previous experience.’ The firm shares.

The Tailored Group is excited to see whether Atlanta is the winning location for Amazon’s second headquarters. However, whatever the results, the firm is thrilled to call Atlanta home and is looking forward to finalizing its 2018 expansion across the region.
