Chateau de sable Children's Autumn/Winter Collection

Chateau de sable launches AW11/12 Collection

Celebrating vintage style and in keeping with its values that “children should look like children”, Chateau de sable is delighted to announce the launch of it’s AW11/12 collection which combines timeless styling and rich materials. The collection gives the vintage look a fresh image with a touch of childhood innocence.

The vintage feel lies not only in the subtle detailing such as prints, appliqués and finishing but also in the fabrics. For instance the exclusively designed brushed cotton fabric for the ‘Checkmate’ collection is in reference to the Vichy fabric from France originally seen on the lid of ‘Bonne Maman’ jam.

Within the ‘Checkmate collection is a checkered dress with bubble hem (£34.99), boys matching shirt with patch sleeve (£26.99) and babies have the matching bloomers (£19.99) and bodies (£16.99) all trimmed with the same checkered fabric. Once again this collection allows siblings to be dressed in coordinating outfits for special occasions. The Checkmate collection comes in three colourways: Tango Red, Chateau Grey and Patriot Blue.

Building on the success of the summer ‘Liberty’ range, Chateau de sable has two uniquely designed Liberty fabrics, which are used for the first time in their winter collection. Included in this range are the ever popular winter girls shorts (£28.99) to be worn with tights, an elegant empire cut dress with Liberty front pleats (£35.99), a ruffle trim skirt (£28.99) and matching top with doll appliqué trimmed with the Liberty print. Baby girls are also included with the matching trim body (£15.99) and frilled bloomer (£22.99).

Commenting on the launch of the new collections, Janice Atlay (Owner) “Our winter collection epitomizes all what Chateau de sable is; sympathetic and traditional designs blended into current fashion. We know our customers want their children to look their age and we know the children are aware of current trends. Our designs cleverly appeal to both markets”.

Collections are available for pre-order from end of July 2011 and in stock from August 2011.
