Swedish Coaches Needs Coaching Supervision

The report ”Global Coaching Survey” takes a look at Coaching from a global point of view. The report states for instance that Sweden isn’t among the ten countries in Europe where Coaching Supervision is widely spread.

For persons working as professional coaches, Coaching Supervision is a method to continously improve the skills in your profession. Supervision gives the coach an opportunity to take a step back and think about his/her own coaching. To make the supervision as effective as possible, the Coaching Supervisor should have the right education, not only in coaching but also the psychological processes that takes place in the work with the client.

The report ”Global Coaching Survey” takes a look at Coaching from a global point of view. The report states that there are ten countries in Europe where Coaching Supervision is widely spread, like the UK, Denmark and Ukraine. The fact that Sweden isn’t among these ten countries ccan seem a bit surprising, since the report also states that coaching is far advanced on its way to becoming a real profession in Sweden.
