The winners of the Self Service Awards 2011

Jan Fridén, Jury chairperson, Self Service Awards 2011.

Tonight, this year's winners of the Self Service Awards have been designated at Cirkus in Stockholm. Prizes have been awarded in the categories for Strategic Support of the Year, Migration of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. ComAround would like to thank all of the nominees for the good job and great commitment.

The Self Service Awards are an annual distinction awarded to those companies and organisations that have best sustained and streamlined their customer support work with the aid of web-based self-service. The evaluation is based on the past year's accomplishments in more than 500 companies and organizations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, which uses the platform ComAround Self Service ™.

These are the winners of the Self Service Awards 2011:

Strategic Support of the Year:

The winner in the "Strategic Support of the Year" category has been chosen by the jury because it is an organisation that has built up good, long-term support for independent IT studies and also initiated successful cross-border cooperation with other county councils using the VAS case note system.
Thanks to their effectively structured, well thought out content, the winner has managed to reach out flexibly and give its care and administration staff outstanding support, with more than 600 published guides. The statistics show high numbers of visits and an excellent resolution rate, and its web-based self service covers a broad area of application. The organisation is constantly developing new areas of application, and its portal is growing thanks to its own specific efforts.

The winner of Strategic Support of the Year is Region Halland!

Migration of the Year:

The winner in the "Migration of the Year" category has been chosen by the jury because of its well planned and executed migration work in respect of the transition to Office 2007 and the launch of a new mobile solution. With this successful migration under its belt, the winner will be using the power of the portal for future migrations; the next migration being to Windows 7. The jury would particularly like to mention the high resolution rate and the fact that the guides are used frequently by both end users and the entire support organisation within the company.

The winner of Migration of the Year is Volvo Aero!

Newcomer of the Year:

The winner in the "Newcomer of the Year" category has been chosen by the jury on account of its excellent preparations, well thought out content and structure, laying the best foundation for a successful launch right from the outset. The company's web-based self service has a broad area of application, and as well as providing support to end users it is also used by the support organisation and for training new staff.
With the help of its web-based self service, the company has managed to turn around the increasing number of support calls to the staffed support team, reducing the number of cases that support staff have to deal with. The future is bright, with a steady increase in web-based case resolutions every month. The winner of "Newcomer of the Year" is already planning to integrate self service with its case handling system and to continue to extend the content of the service so that it can offer assistance on even more business systems.

The winner of Newcomer of the Year is Norsk Gjenvinning!
