Press release -

Three months until the Digital Marketing Show

The Digital Marketing Show

There is just three months to go until the first ever Digital Marketing Show takes place at Excel.  With 150 speakers and 100 exhibitors, the Digital Marketing Show promises to be the ‘must attend event’ of the year. The Digital Marketing Show will bring together industry leaders, key influencers and experts who will share their knowledge and expertise with marketers and others who know that they need to understand digital better than they currently do.  The Digital Marketing Show expects 10,000 visitors and pre-registration is well ahead of expectations.  Visitors range from CEOs to E-Commerce Managers.

The Digital Marketing Show aims to help British businesses harness the power of digital marketing. Many people in marketing (particularly at senior levels) continue to struggle to understand and exploit the potential and challenges that digital marketing brings.  This failure is life-threatening for UK businesses, as many high street names have already discovered.

Philippa Snare, Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft UK (one of the speakers) explained the importance of the Show; "The way people engage is changing faster than it ever has before. Digital is now a fundamental part of all communication, both internal and externally for people and companies, and no company can afford to be a silent observer.  However it is extremely challenging to ensure that you have the up-to-date knowledge and understand the terminology, tools and trends.  The Digital Marketing Show is a great opportunity to plug the gaps in your understanding and check some of your assumptions."

Babita Earle, Head of UK Digital Market Intelligence at GfK agreed with Philippa; "The Digital Marketing Show is an important event for everyone in business.  We’re delighted to be involved as the research partner so we can continue our work helping companies successfully integrate digital into their business. With digital marketing so high up many brands’ agendas, we’re not at all surprised by the huge level of interest."

Nick James, Producer of the Digital Marketing Show commented; “Our line-up of speakers is incredible and we’re delighted with the diverse range of businesses that have pre-registered to attend the Digital Marketing Show; from CEOs to Marketing Directors; from E-Commerce Managers to Heads of Digital.  The response shows a huge appetite from businesses of all sizes who need to understand how to compete in a Digital World.  We’re looking forward to a great event.”

The Digital Marketing Show takes place from the 26th-28th of November at Excel.  Attendance is free and tickets are available from digitalmarketingshow.co.uk.
