Digital Yacht introduce iAISTX Class B AIS Transponder

We’re delighted to introduce iAISTX - a Class B AIS transponder with a WiFi interface designed specifically for the growing number of sailors and boating enthusiasts using iPads and tablets for marine navigation. Many iOS and Android apps support AIS including the popular Navionics software.

Digital Yacht introduced the award winning Nomad AIS two years ago and have found there’s demand for an permanent, installed solution to compliment Nomad's portable capabilities.

iAISTX ships with an external GPS antenna for mounting below decks.  Connect power and a VHF antenna or connect via our SPL1500/2000 to an existing VHF antenna and installation is complete.  It's also available with an NMEA 2000 interface option for traditional plotter integration as well as wireless for tablets.
