Appointment of new Interim Chief Executive

Vikki Harding, Director of Care at ellenor, will take on the role of interim Chief Executive with immediate effect.

Vikki joined the charity in July 2018 as Director of Care from NELFT NHS Foundation where she was Assistant Director responsible for delivering Children’s Services, Health Improvement Services and HIV and sexual heath services.

A registered nurse for 35 years, she has extensive experience in the healthcare sector specialising in respiratory care where she worked as a respiratory nurse consultant engaged in the holistic care of patients with lung diseases, with the aim of maintaining the highest nursing standards, while working in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Welcoming the new appointment, Roger Wedderburn-Day, Chair of Trustees, said: “We are delighted that Vikki has accepted the interim role of Chief Executive. Importantly, Vikki will provide us with leadership continuity during this busy and exciting period for the charity.During the next twelve months Vikki will work with the Executive team to ensure we are focussed on the needs and beliefs of our charity in line with ellenor's strategic plan”.

Speaking of her new role Vikki said: “We have built a strong reputation to provide care and support to our patients and their loved ones in the community alongside our full range of support services.It is an honour and a privilege to lead such a fantastic team of skilled professionals and together, we will continue to work hard to deliver the very best care and support to patients and their families in Kent and Bexley”.
