Silent auction set to raise £10,000

Bidding for luxurious items opens to the public to help raise money for hospice care.

We are launching our first-ever Silent Online Auction fundraiser, with 100% of the money raised going towards supporting the hospice in providing the very best end of life care across Kent and Bexley.

The Online Auction, sponsored by Asphalt & Civil Engineering Plant Manufacturer W J Horrod Limited, will ensure ellenor can continue its crucial work during these uncertain times and into the future. The charity needs the community’s support now more than ever so it can continue to provide the best possible care and support to adults and children, who depend on the care they provide, both in the hospice and to patients in the community.

“We’re excited to announce our first ever online auction; with a fantastic array of enticing prizes on offer; from sporting memorabilia to money-can’t buy experiences. The money raised through the auction will make a real difference to the lives of people affected by terminal or life-limiting illness, and their families. We currently support 3,000 families; our services are in high demand and the care needs are getting more complex. By taking part in our Online Auction you will be helping us to continue to provide the very best care and support to our local community” says Emma Bowles ellenor Interim Events Fundraising Manager.

The two week auction will provide Kent businesses and individuals the opportunity to bid on a range of luxurious exclusive items such as a week-long stay for up to 6 people in Gleneagles, a private back-stage tour of ITV’s studios; signed football memorabilia; a thrill-seeking Wing Walking experience on the wings of a bi-plane and a tour of London’s Grays Antique Market London with celebrated British jewellery designer Katie Mullally whose designs have been worn by celebrities such as Ferne Cotton and Ellie Goulding. You can also donate to help fund some of the vital services ellenor provides.

Clive Emson, founder of Clive Emson Auctioneers says: “As professional auctioneers, Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers are honoured to be able to support ellenor by launching their first ever online fundraising auction. Supporting local charities is very much our company ethos and we are delighted to be able to help ellenor in raising some much-needed funds through this exciting new platform.”
