The most notable feature on the new Blackberry Torch is that it offers both a full hardware QWERTY keyboard as well as a 3.2’’ multi-touch touch screen. Another notable part of the handset is the optical trackpad; the modern replacement for a trackball.

In terms of connectivity, the Torch offers both 3G and Wi-Fi; services that one would come to expect from Blackberry. This model incorporates a 5 mega-pixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and VGA video recording. The camera itself is of a solid standard; however the LED flash doesn’t particularly give photographs a good light. Also, for the price and standard of the Torch, VGA video recording isn’t exactly spectacular. With a series of competitors on the market already recording in 720p, the Torch falls short of its rivals.
