  • Pakistan to arrive in the UK on Sunday

    The England & Wales Cricket Board can confirm that the Pakistan men’s cricket team will arrive in the United Kingdom on Sunday 28 June to start preparation for this summer’s tour of England, which includes three Test matches and three Vitality IT20s. The behind-closed-doors schedule for these fixtures will be announced in due course.

  • Regional Retainer signings confirmed in the women's domestic game

    The eight regions of the new Women's Elite Domestic Structure have announced their Regional Retainer signings.
    The 25 players represent the first tranche of professional women's domestic cricketers. When the 40 full-time contracts are awarded - which ECB intends to award this year, despite the repercussions of COVID-19 - all Regional Retainer players will progress on to those terms.

  • Official Statement – COVID-19 Tests

    The England & Wales Cricket Board can confirm that 702 COVID-19 tests were carried out between June 3 and June 23 with several stakeholder groups working at the bio-secure venues of the Ageas Bowl and Emirates Old Trafford. These groups include players, support staff, match officials, ECB staff, venue staff and hotel staff.
    We can confirm that all 702 tests were negative.

    England and Sussex bowler Jofra Archer will join England’s behind-closed-doors training camp on Thursday after a member of his household felt unwell over the weekend.
