  • England men name ODI squad for India series

    England Men have named their 14-player squad for the three-match One-Day International series against India in Pune starting on Tuesday.
    Three additional players – Jake Ball, Chris Jordan and Dawid Malan – will travel with the squad as cover. All these players have been in India for the Twenty20 International series that concluded in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

  • Ellyse Perry signs up for The Hundred

    Australian sporting icon Ellyse Perry has become the latest global superstar to sign up for cricket’s new 100-ball competition The Hundred.
    The ICC Women’s Player of the Decade will play for Birmingham Phoenix in the first season of the new competition where she will line up alongside compatriot Ashleigh Gardner, New Zealand’s Sophie Devine and England’s own Amy Jones and Georgia Elwiss.

    The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the 2020 Domestic Cricket Journalism Award winners with The Cricketer securing two honours.
    The Cricketer won the Outstanding Online Coverage of Domestic Cricket award for a third successive year while its journalist Nick Friend was judged the Christopher Martin-Jenkins Young Journalist of the Year.

    England Women beat New Zealand by 32 runs
    England Women won the final IT20 in New Zealand to secure a 3-0 series victory.
    Important contributions from Sophia Dunkley - batting at No.4 in the absence of injured captain Heather Knight - and Fran Wilson took stand-in skipper Nat Sciver's side to 129-9.

  • Freya Davies takes four as England Women seal series

    England Women beat New Zealand Women by six wickets
    Freya Davies took four wickets as England Women won the second IT20 against New Zealand in Wellington and claimed the series.
    New Zealand were in a threatening position at 84-2 before two wickets in two balls from Sarah Glenn turned the tide.
    Davies then took three in her final three overs as the hosts were dismissed for 120.

  • New England Men's Coaches announced

    ECB have today announced a number of new appointments in the England men’s pathway.
    In one of three elite coaching appointments, Former England and Somerset batter Marcus Trescothick has been confirmed as Elite Batting Coach. Trescothick has experience working with the group and will take up the new role in the middle of March. He will step down from his role as Assistant Coach at Somerset CCC

    New Zealand Women beat England Women by seven wickets
    New Zealand's Amy Satterthwaite scored an unbeaten hundred as New Zealand won the final match of the ODI series.
    England were indebted to Tammy Beaumont (88*) and Heather Knight (60) for their total of 220, which captain Heather Knight judged to be 30-40 short after the game.

    England Women beat New Zealand by seven wickets 
    Fifties from Tammy Beaumont and Nat Sciver took England to a seven-wicket win in the second ODI against New Zealand in Dunedin, and with it a series victory.
