    India Women held on to draw the LV= Insurance Test at Bristol.
    With the visitors reduced to 199-7 ahead of tea on the final day, the most likely outcome seemed to be an England win, but Sneh Rana and Taniya Bhatia dug in to put on 104 for the ninth wicket to secure the draw and see the points shared.

  • England Women frustrated by rain on day three at Bristol

    India 83-1 and 231 trail England 396-9 dec by 82 runs
    England Women were frustrated by a combination of rain and Shafali Verma on day three of the LV= Insurance Test.
    India trail by 82 runs going into the final day, having been asked to follow on, with 108 overs due to be bowled tomorrow.
    Earlier Sophie Ecclestone had taken 4-88 to close the visitors’ first innings on 231.

    The Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) has imposed a suspended sanction against Sussex County Cricket Club following a remote disciplinary hearing on 15 June. The hearing was held after Sussex received five fixed penalties in a 12-month period.
    As a consequence of the fixed penalties, Sussex CCC were charged with a breach of ECB Directive 3.6.21(a).

    England Women took five late wickets across a dramatic final hour on day two of the LV= Insurance Test at Bristol.
    Shafali Verma (96) and Smriti Mandhana (78) had taken their team to 167-0 but the late flurry of wickets saw the visitors close on 187-5, 209 in arrears.
