Evam introduces AI to frontline emergency MDT systems

Evam, a leading provider of mission-critical mobile data solutions for public safety organisations, has launched a new AI feature in its MDT Software product: Vehicle Services. The feature is designed to reduce manual workload and provide control rooms and crews with a more accurate, real-time operational picture.

Using incident data, dispatch information and real-time vehicle location, status updates are handled automatically, removing the need for crews to manually change status during high-pressure situations. This results in a more reliable and up-to-date overview for both frontline units and command centres.

The feature is fully customisable to support each organisation’s workflows and can be configured using predefined metrics such as distance to incident or time on scene for example.

Evam’s platform is used by emergency services across Europe to support mobilisation, navigation, data sharing and frontline decision-making.

The new AI feature will be offered to UK services as part of Evam’s next-generation operational support for first responders.
