Therefore

Therefore Corporation provides document management and document processing solutions. Integration with Canon MFP’s Therefore have been working alongside Canon to enable the seamless integration of their impressive document management capabilities with the Canon range of award-winning multifunction printers. The Therefore MFP Application is a MEAP solution which enables the direct integration of all Canon’s imageRUNNER devices into the Therefore document management system. Users are able to scan in documents to the MFP device and save them to Therefore, together with the relevant indexing data. All of the classification, indexing and storage can be done through the MFP’s interface – and users’ PC’s don’t even need to be switched on.

 

Integration with eCOPY Sharescan For users of eCopy, the Therefore Connector for eCopy ShareScan allows storing of documents straight from a multifunction printer (MFP) to the Therefore Document Management Solution. eCopy also enables Therefore users to send documents to multiple destinations from their MFP. Integration with eCopy Desktop allows for documents to be annotated and then scanned to the Therefore document management system, by using the Save to Therefore button.

 

As well as Canon and eCopy Sharescan, Therefore may be integrated with a broad range of third party software packages including SAP R/3, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft SharePoint, File Director and COLD mainframes.

IRIS

Canon acquired a 17% stake in IRIS back in 2009 and from that moment on Canon has worked with IRIS to develop solutions which provide customers with a larger portfolio of document management solutions – from large volume scanning and indexing solutions, document Compression and OCR invoice recognition to digital mailroom, forms and freeforms.

 

IRIS is an internationally renowned specialist in Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR), Electronic Document Management (EDM) Systems and Content and Process Management (CPM) Solutions. Canon is now reselling the company’s complete range of business solutions, adding to its existing document capture and document systems offering and complementing it with IRIS solutions which can now be fully integrated with Canon’s existing document management portfolio, including eCopy, NT ware and Therefore.

 

Canon’s main focus though is on IRIS Powerscan TM and IRIS PDF TM Scanner which is helping to expand its document scanning proposition and to further support with their customers document management needs. The IRIS/Canon solutions fully empower users to scan, structure, index, sort and convert all of their documents into fully searchable text and PDF files, truly streamlining the whole document capture process.

NT Ware

NT Ware is an innovative software company specialising in the conception, development and support of print and document management solutions. It links with business applications, connects your printer/scanner to your company’s email and other network enterprises applications for low cost, easy and instantaneous distribution and management of electronic copies of paper documents in black and white or colour.
