Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust: Using technology to create a digital hospital

This video illustrates how Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) are using technology to create a digital hospital. The technology being used is transforming modern healthcare and NUH are leading the way to improve patient care using mobile technology.

Electronic observation and handover have been introduced, which means staff at the bedside can record the real critical information about their patients, that information is then available to all staff with a mobile device that should have access to it.

Mobile devices are in the hands of all clinicians, nurses, healthcare assistants and Dr's, ensuring that the crucial bits of information about a patient are available all the time.
