    Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is celebrating a strong start to the New Year, after December 2013 and January 2014 saw the highest number of guest bookings since 2008. In December 2013, revenue was up 80% year-on-year against 2012 and on January 13th 2014, the cruise line had one of its biggest sale days ever.

Olsen Cruise Lines' 1,350-guest flagship, Balmoral, has become an internet sensation, after video footage of her dramatic 'stretch' by 30 metres at the Blohm + Voss shipyard in Hamburg, Germany in 2008 was posted on popular websites for the BBC and 'Daily Mail', amongst others. The clip has now been seen and enjoyed by over 350,000 viewers online.
