Man charged with carrying a machete-style knife in Basingstoke

A man is due in court today charged with carrying a machete-style knife in Basingstoke.

Darren Telemaque, 19, of Dagenham, London, has been charged with possession of a knife blade and two counts of possession to supply Class A drugs.

He is due to appear in at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (January 9).

The charge comes after officers seized a knife and a quantity of suspected Class A drugs at the Winklebury Centre, on January 7 at 4.15pm.
