UPDATE: Two teenagers charged following serious assault in Basingstoke
Officers investigating a serious assault in Basingstoke have charged two teenagers.
A 17-year-old and a 15-year-old were both charged with GBH and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
The 17-year-old boy has also been charged with threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place.
It comes following a serious assault in Cliddesden Road, Basingstoke, on January 20, at around 3.30pm.
A 49-year-old man suffered a single stab wound and was treated at hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening.
Cabdiraxmam Cabdulle, 19, of Hollington Road, London, has also been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
They are due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on February 27.
A 36-year-old man, from Basingstoke and a 37-year-old man, from Eastleigh, have been released from custody but remain under investigation in relation to this incident.
