Wednesday 28 May, 2025 - Hitachi Rail, a global leader in smart mobility solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SBS Transit, Singapore’s leading transport operator, to strengthen their long-standing partnership. The agreement focuses on developing mobility innovations, fostering local talent development and driving innovation in the transport industry.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving mobility solutions, enhancing passenger experience and exploring opportunities for sustainable growth. Key initiatives include applying Advanced AI algorithms in order to provide insights to transport authorities and operators on passenger experience, operations efficiency and revenue protection. At the heart of this collaboration is the Hitachi Digital Competence Center in Singapore, whose world-class engineers and researchers will support the development of cutting-edge technologies.
