Ramadan Dua eCards for Muslims launched by Hope Spring
Ramadan eCard fundraiser launched by Hope Spring
Water poverty alleviation charity, Hope Spring launched thirty sets of UK charity ecards, called Ramadan Dua ecards online today, the 28th of April. The eCards targeted at Muslims, represent the thirty days of the holy month of Ramadan. Each eCard contains prayers and supplication for each day of Ramadan.
The Ramadan Dua eCards was devised and created for Hope Spring eCards by volunteer fundraiser Abdulwasiu Abdulraheem, a practising Muslim. Mr Abdulraheem said “during Ramadan, many of the people I know exchange these prayers and supplication ecards with each other. I thought it would be fun to design some for Hope Spring, in the hope that my Muslim brothers and sisters will use the Hope Spring version, and make a donation to the charity with each Ramadan Dua eCards sent”.
The first fifteen of the Hope Spring Ramadan Dua eCards, are available at the charity’s ecards website. The remaining fifteen are expected to go online early next week, in time for the later part of the holy month of Ramadan.
Hope Spring eCards platform manager Evgeniy Garkaviy said “It was absolutely fantastic to have Abdulwasiu Abdulraheem on our team. His creativity and Islamic background, has added depth we previously lacked to our offering”. Mr Abdulraheem is currently working on Eid Mubarak eCards. Eid is the Muslim celebration, to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Find out more information about this eCards on the Facebook page set up specially for this project.

Hope Spring Water charity’s ecard website was set up, so that its users can send donation ecards to their family, friends or colleagues and donate what it would have cost them to send a traditional printed card to Hope Spring.
