Lesjöfors wants to grow within the motorsports industry

Lesjöfors has signed membership of SMI, Swedish Motorsport Industry, which supports companies operating in motorsport related business. Many new business opportunities are expected in an industry where Lesjöfors already has excellent products and a good reputation.

Lesjöfors is already in the industry
Lesjöfors has long experience and extensive knowledge of springs used in the racing industry, including cooperation since many years with Öhlins Racing. Now, Lesjöfors wants to develop the business in the industry further.
“We are now promoting ourselves more to the motorsports industry. Many operators do not know that Lesjöfors has specialist skills and have solved many problems for e.g. engine components. We want to change this now, by appearing in many contexts associated with SMI", says Niklas Pettersson, Sales Manager at Lesjöfors Industrial Springs in Herrljunga.

SMI focuses on motorsport
Swedish Motorsport Industry is working to raise the status of the Swedish motorsport industry, both nationally and internationally. SMI is a non-profit association, working to increase business opportunities and contacts between members and other organizations. Among other things, there are good network opportunities with key persons in motor sports industry. The organization also organizes meetings, seminars and trade fairs which provide business opportunities.

The SMI informs, assists and encourages its members in all aspects of their business development, with emphasis on exports and deal with authorities.
