Food tech startup becomes first ever “reduced carb” certified product with Sugarwise
Manchester food tech startup Lo-Dough has become the first ever company to be awarded an official “reduced carb” certification by Sugarwise for its innovative low calorie pizza base. As well as 30% lower in carbs than comparable products, products carrying the coveted Sugarwise mark with a carb claim must fulfill the certifier's additional criteria of having no more than 10g carbohydrate in 100g.
