Brighton Gin Presents: A Festive Feast of Sussex Food and Drink Producers

Celebrate the very best of independent Sussex food and drink producers under one roof at Brighton Gin’s “Meet the Sussex Makers” on November 30th at the Old Market in Hove.

Brighton Gin will be joined by award-winning local artisan producers to showcase an exciting selection of fine food and drinks, with tasters and samples and inspiration for festive feasts and gift ideas.

Guests will also be able to enjoy some seasonal entertainment, spin the ‘Gin Wheel of Fortune’ and have the chance to ‘Meet the Makers’ behind Sussex’s innovative and creative local food scene.

With two separate sessions and just 250 tickets available for each, lucky attendees will be able to discover, sample and buy the finest food, most dazzling drinks and gorgeous gifts that Sussex has to offer.

Kathy Caton, Founder of Brighton Gin and organiser of the festival, said:

“Sussex is blessed with some incredible food and drink producers and brands, plus some real personalities, so this Festive Food Market is a great chance to celebrate them and help attendees crank up their Christmas shopping a notch or two. Visitors will have a fantastic opportunity to try a sensational selection of the finest Sussex produce while getting up close and personal with the entrepreneurs and makers behind our county’s unassailable food and drink scene. It’s a day not to be missed!”

The day is split into two sessions - 12:30pm - 4pm and 5pm - 8:30pm - with tickets priced at £5 per session for a limited number of early birds, or £7 general admission.

The ticket price includes entrance, a complimentary festive Brighton Gin cocktail and entry into the prize draw to win a hamper filled with Sussex-produced treats.

Just a few of the producers already signed up for the day include Ridgeview, Real Patisserie, Black Rock Coffee, Folkingtons, Chilgrove Spirits, Albourne Wine, Barney's Deli, Cabinpressure Spirits, Forgotten Cuts, Madame Jennifer, Harley House, Slake Spirits and This Little Piggy.

Due to the nature of the event, it will be for over 18’s only. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible throughout with platform lift access to toilets.
