The long way home. Mas.s conveys a message of hope in his latest painting.

This new painting "The long way home" depicts our journey through life. He says "We are often bugged down or overwhelmed by the problems of the day. We can not see further then our nose. This painting is to show that we have to look further. Look towards the horizon. Anything can happen. Have faith, have hope. Trust in love. It also reminds us that everyday is a brand new day."

The sun is a central topic in much of his work, he believes in the beauty, strength of light and the power of the sun in everybody's life. He says, "It reminds me that there is a constant in our life. That the sun is always shining,  behind the clouds, in the moon, the stars and beyond the horizon. Every day is a new day, full of challenges but also full of opportunities. He uses his unique and vibrant display of the skies and a gloriously shining sun in a sober and calm landscape, driving home the central message in this beautiful work.

His work will also be at display at Gagliardi gallery, one of the oldest contemporary art galleries in London ( www.gagliardi.org ) and the forthcoming Affordable Art Fair (www.affordableartfair.com/battersea) in Battersea at the start of March.
