"The thinker......And naked we are." In his newest painting Mas.s mirrors our vulnerability and dependency on each other

In "The Thinker" series Mas.s has now portrayed a nude. He says "We are all full of pretences, some of us think we are of a certain status and inclination but ultimately we are all the same. We are born naked, vulnerable, fully dependant. At the end of our life or in sickness we are also vulnerable. Everything we build around us is of little or no avail. Reminding ourselves in our journey through life of this naked truth." He goes on "Nakedness is vulnerability, vulnerability is essentially a call to care. To really care. To really take care of yourself and each other."

He goes on "Art is essentially a means to stir the soul, to make people realise within that there is more then just material things, that the soul is ever thirsting and desperate to be acknowledged. Beauty and meaningfulness is important in art. This is what I try to achieve in my work."
