On September 14, 2022, H&R inaugurated the new Power-to-Liquids (PtL) demonstration plant at the production site of Ölwerke Schindler GmbH. is one of the world’s first PtL concepts on a technical scale, supplying so-called eFuels as well as synthetic raw waxes, which will be marketed via the P2X-Europe joint venture of the two partner companies Mabanaft and H&R.

Mabanaft acquires stake in energy-storage specialist NACOMPEX GmbH. Mabanaft and NACOMPEX are working together to develop an innovative, decentralised system for storing and transporting hydrogen. Germany’s federal government and that of the state of Saxony are providing the projects with €1.8 million in funding as part of the National Hydrogen Strategy.
