The meeting involved authorities, neighbors, and experts to determine the scope of the environmental impact assessment. The terminal aims to bring climate-friendlier energy to Hamburg and the next step is to submit the permit application.
German energy company Mabanaft has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with cruise operator TUI Cruises to supply green methanol. The partnership aims to make the cruise industry more climate-friendly, starting with a methanol delivery for the Mein Schiff 7. TUI Cruises plans to add more methanol-ready cruise ships to its fleet in Germany.
