Petronord GmbH will from now on operate under the name MB Energy Last Mile GmbH. This marks the next important step in the rebranding of the MB Energy Group, bringing Petronord’s many years of expertise, regional strength and customer focus into the shared, future-oriented brand world.
The Petronord Group, part of Mabanaft's Energy Distribution division, has signed an agreement to sell its shares in Kaiser Söhne Mineralöle GmbH & Co. KG in Arnsberg. With effect from 1 February 2024, the shareholders of Kaiser Söhne have reached an agreement to jointly sell the company to Adolf ROTH GmbH & Co. KG in Gießen.
Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG has signed an agreement for the sale of the Energy Distribution business areas in the two companies Lipps Energie GmbH und Uhlenbruck Energie GmbH & Co. KG to Rheinland energie team GmbH & Co. KG with effect from 1st December 2023. The transaction is subject to necessary authority approvals.
Mabanaft continues to invest in the end-customer business and acquires the remaining shares in five Petronord Group companies, to create a platform for further growth.
JB German Oil GmbH & Co. KG, part of the Petronord Group, signs contract for the sale of its lubricants business.
Lennard Schneider will assume the role of Managing Director of Petronord GmbH & Co. KG on 1st December 2022 and head up the newly established Energy Distribution unit. He succeeds Volker Tiedemann, who built up and expanded the Petronord Group, and successfully managed it for more than 21 years.
The expansion of the Petronord Group in Sweden continues steadily, even under difficult conditions caused by the Corona pandemic. Subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities, Petronord will acquire shares in the trading company Runes AB as of January 1, 2022.
