Keith Turner announced as new Mid and East Antrim councillor

The new Mid and East Antrim councillor for Larne Lough has been announced as Keith Turner.

Speaking about the new appointment Councillor Turner said he was ‘delighted’ to be in the new role.

Cllr Turner added: “My priorities are to consult with residents and support local shops and businesses.

“Protecting resources locally as well as developing and promoting local jobs is very important and I plan to keep that at the top of my agenda.

“As I am now retired I will be dedicating all my time to my role as a councillor.”

Councillor Turner spent much of his career in the army and played rugby and cricket at a professional level. He is also a keen environmentalist.
