CCTV appeal following assault in Liverpool City Centre last year

Detectives investigating an assault in Liverpool City Centre are issuing CCTV images of two men we wish to speak to.

At 1am on Sunday, 1 July 2018, a group of men were asked to leave Red Door in Berry Street following a verbal altercation with door staff. Once outside, two of the men assaulted door staff, resulting in one staff member sustaining a fractured jaw and significant bruising.

Detective Inspector Paul Lamb said: "We think the men pictured may have information to assist, so I would ask that they, or anyone who recognises them, comes forward.

"Violence of any description will not be tolerated, in this case targeting those door security staff who work hard to ensure the safety of people enjoying a night out in Liverpool. We will act on all information provided to identify those involved and put them before the courts."

Anyone with information is asked to contact @MerPolCC, call 101 with reference 18200143536 or @CrimestoppersUK anonymously on 0800 555 111.
