Police appeal to passing motorists after an 11 year old cyclist was involved in a collision with a car

We’re appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage after an 11 year old boy was involved in a collision with a car on Borough Road, Birkenhead yesterday afternoon (25^th August).

Emergency services were called to the above location at around 3:20pm to reports that the child, who was on a bike at the time, had been involved in a collision with a Mercedes car.

The boy was taken to hospital with a head injury and remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, remained at scene assisting officers with their continued investigation.
