Police ask for help following attempted robbery at Vauxhall pharmacy

Detectives in Liverpool are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at a pharmacy on Limekiln Lane, Vauxhall.

The incident took place at P.Robinson Pharmacy on Monday morning (14 January), when at around 6.30am, a man followed a staff member inside the pharmacy and demanded methadone. A small scuffle then ensued before the offender left empty handed.

The staff member was left shaken by his ordeal.

The offender is described as white, thought to be in his 20s, around 5ft 7in with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark green jacket, with a dark scarf wrapped around his face, dark trousers. He is described as having a slim build and Liverpool accent.

CCTV from the surrounding area is being sought and the scene forensically examined.
